All swimmers, please review this list for any errors. If there are errors contact Mark Plummer by Oct 16, 2008. The finalized list will be submitted to USMS for consideration for the Top Ten list.

USMS Nationals - Relays Set!
Hello CMS LC Nationals Team!
Here are the relays as of Aug. 6. Please be aware that these may change slightly once in Oregon (as these things always do!).
If you're not available for any relay you find yourself on, please contact me ASAP at Rebecca Friedlander
or 720-937-6580.
I will do my best to have relay information posted in a central CMS locale at the meet as well as on my hotel door
(Holiday Inn).
2008 CMS LC National Relays
A few reminders:
- Lady COMSA says: "Don't forget to bring warm deck-clothes; mornings will be in the 50s"
- Free relays are to determine their own order amongst themselves; just have this order written on the card before the gun goes off
- Subbing/swapping legs etc. is all fine as long as we do not change age brackets and the final correct order is on the card before the gun goes off
- Relays are responsible for picking up their card and organizing themselves
- HAVE FUN AND SWIM FAST!!!
Liz Stock
Liz Stock, 71, died Tuesday, May 27, 2008. For many years, Liz was an active swimmer with
Jeffco Aquatic Masters, attended many COMSA board meetings, participated in state meets,
Nationals, and worlds. At one time she was the state meet director at Meyers pool.
Her funeral will be Tuesday, June 3rd, at 9:30A at St Dominic's. Her brother's name is William
(wife Sherry) Stock and his address is 1696 S. Welch Court, Lakewood, 80228. Phone: 303-985-3629.

Results are posted at the above link. CMS wins Women's, Men's and Combined titles. CMS had lots
of individual and relay national titles. Congrats to all who participated!
2007-2008 SCY Times for Top Ten consideration

"The Colorado/Wyoming Top Ten file of the 2007-2008 short course yards season is now posted.
All swimmers should review these results for accuracy as to age, time, and event.
If there are any errors or additions to this, please contact Mark Plummer.
These results will be submitted to USMS for their Top Ten consideration on June 10, 2008."
2007-2008 SCY Relays for Top Ten consideration

"The relay results that will be sent to USMS for 2007-2008 Short Course Yards Top Ten consideration
have been posted. Swimmers and coaches are encouraged to review this file for possible errors.
If anyone finds an error, please contact Mark Plummer. However, note that a lot of teams are not
included since one or more of the swimmers was not affiliated with the team Colorado Masters Swimming (CMS).
Also, teams are not included if one or more individuals swam with other combinations of swimmers for the same
local team."
2006-2007 Relay All-Americans.
These swimmers achieved the
fastest time in a relay event/age group in at least one course. Use this
form to order Relay All-American Certificates/Patches.

Two $300 scholarships available for graduating high school swimmers related to
a COMSA member. Application deadline is June 15, 2008.

Swimming at the Nash...
Jeff Magouirk, BeeGee, reports on the Kevin B. Nash Memorial Swim Meet. The meet was affectionatley dubbed "The Nash".
"It was a great deal of fun and we raised nearly $1000.00 in funds for scholarships for high school seniors who swam.
We are discussing funding two, one each for men and women."
Colorado Long Course Top Times

If you have ever wanted to take on the Channel here is your chance! Join me and other Colorado swimmers as we take on the English Channel in August 2008. The goal is to pull together up to (6) swimmers to form a Colorado Team that will Travel to Dover England in August 2008. Jack Buchannan passed away November 5, 2007. He was one of COMSA's very first members, and was a long-time contributor to USMS.
